Mike Haddaway an Eastern Shore native is retired Maryland State Trooper that served Maryland for 22 years. He was also in the United States Navy and owned his own charter boat business. Mike has been a U.S.C.G. Captain for 15 years. And he is an avid clay target shooter
Mike began working at Albright's Gun Shop when family member, "Coach", decided to retire from working at the shop. Having been a patron of the shop for several years, Larry Albright let Mike know that work does not interfere with hunting or fishing season. Mike's reply was, "When do I start! | Jim "Cowboy" Kohlhaus got his nickname for his love of Cowboy Action Shooting. He has been an avid collector of Single Action Army Colts and Winchester Rifles circa early 1900's. Since some of his guns are older and bullets are no longer available, Jim has learned how to cast his own bullets. His love for older guns has lead him to become a member of Single Action Shooting Society (S.A.S.S). This organization holds shoots every month and that is when the "Cowboy" in Jim comes to life.
He has been hunting for about 45 years and has a love for Colts and Winchesters. So when the opportunity came to joing the team at Albright's Gun Shop it seemed to be a great fit. A place where he could share his experience and pass on knowledge of Colts, Winchesters, and other firearms. |
