Gunsmithing is important to a gun owner for the simple fact that modifications such as stock fit, customization, trigger work or restoration are personalized to the owner. The fit of the gun is important for comfort and succesful shooting. Custom rifles, rebarrelling, custom stocks, stock bending, leather covered recoil pads, hot and cold rust bluing, parkerizing, restorations, choke and barrel work, antique and specialty work, as well as general repairs are all offered here.

Alex Lyle has always had a passion for guns. He grew up hunting with his father, who instilled in him an appreciation for fine shoulder arms at a young age. He thrives on the intricate details that flow gracefully together into a functional piece of art.
Alex studied at the Piedmont Gunsmithing Association in Roxboro, NC. After graduation, he went to work for C. Sharp Armory in Big Timber, Montana. Though a high-end gun manufacturer, the production mindset was not for him. When he heard that Albright's Gun Shop was looking for a new gunsmith, he leapt at the opportunity. He feels priviledged to be working with Steve Engle, master gunsmith, and looks forward to his future at Albright's.
Steve
Engle, a formally trained gunsmith, came to Albright's Gun
Shop over 15 years ago. Steve is considered a Master Gunsmith.
He has over 20 years of experience and grew up working on guns.
Some customers see guns as just a tool but to others they are
heirlooms with sentimental value. This is one reason Steve
enjoys working with wood and metal, using his skills to restore
a customer's gun.
