HANDGUNS
Handguns, whether revolvers or pistols, serve practical purposes for many people such as: concealed carry, personal and home protection, target shooting, competition and hunting. Handgun Safety Course
The required handgun safety course is offered online through the state of Maryland. Consider this when purchasing a handgun. Determine what the need for the gun is, such as home defense or hunting. Handgun Purchase
To purchase a handgun, one must be at least 21 years of age, a Maryland resident and have taken the handgun safety course provided online through the state of Maryland.
There is an 8 day waiting period. The Maryland State Police must approve your application.
Note: You are allowed to have a gun in your home for your protection, but to carry a gun, a carry permit is required throughout the state of Maryland.
LONG GUNS
Albright's Gun Shop carries new and used long guns by Caesar Guerini, Benelli, Beretta, Browning, Franchi, Remington, Ruger, Fausti, Stoeger and others. To purchase a long gun you must be 18 or older and pass the National Instant Check System (NICS).
